Recorded width: 33mm height:16mm Nest, Maxwell Hill, Malaysia
This is either the Tasta montana or the Tasta micaceata. Both are found in Malaysia but the differences between the two are very minute and are best differentiated by the male genitalia which I did not and will probably not do. So I will leave this identification as Tasta sp. tending towards T. montana, with the Nest being around 1200m asl.
The difficulty in determining which of the two Tasta's does not diminish the fact that this is a very special-looking mini moth with silver specks lining the forewing margins.
I can't help admiring such beauty in a tiny package
